great blog. Keep up the good work. It helps that you've really been pimping my Yellow Jackets this preseason.

Why is Matt Ryan not considered a Heisman candidate?

Brian...Ryan is still far behind guys like Brohm, Booty, Brennan, Pat White, and a few others to be thrown into the mix just yet. The RB field is a little more open Heisman-wise, with McFadden leading the way, but a logjam after that. That's where Choice can really make an impression.

Ryan's a great one, but he needs to go 10-2 at worst to even have a shot at the Top 10 in the Heisman balloting. He could throw for 4,000 yards and 30+ TDs but the QBs at the higher profile schools are just going to get more pub and exposure unless BC runs the table.
