ACC Postseason Honors Extravaganza

Courtesy of the members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association, the winners are.....

Player of the Year: Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech. No one can deny the man's physical skills, but when a league's top player is a wideout with just 899 receiving yards on 59 catches (an average of just 4.92 per game!), then that league has severe problems on the offensive side of the ball.

Coach of the Year: Jim Grobe, Wake Forest. Unanimous decision. I should friggin think so.

Rookie of the Year: Riley Skinner, QB, Wake Forest. Hmm, the big 3 awards involve players or coaches from the two schools competing in this weekend's ACC title game. At least something makes sense this year.
