This Week's Very Busy Blog Poll Ballot

After this past weekend's all around general insanity, I decided to do what I really should do every week....ignore my previous rankings, ponder each team's results and merits this season and rank them accordingly. Here goes...

RankTeamDelta
1LSU--
2Southern Cal 1
3California 3
4Ohio State 4
5South Florida 8
6Wisconsin 9
7Boston College--
8Arizona State 6
9Kentucky 9
10Oklahoma 8
11Florida 6
12Oregon 1
13Cincinnati 4
14West Virginia 10
15South Carolina 5
16Georgia 5
17Kansas State 9
18Clemson 6
19Missouri 3
20Florida State 6
21Virginia Tech 2
22Rutgers 12
23Purdue 3
24Texas 15
25Miami (Florida) 2

Dropped Out: Hawaii (#16), Penn State (#24), Alabama (#25).

Thoughts...
---It got extremely difficult to rank teams starting with #13...I mean, Cincinnati? But they deserve it more than teams 14-25.
---Living in the Tampa area and seeing USF at #5 is surreal...11 years ago that program didn't even exist.
---I don't think anyone goes undefeated this year...but if someone does, USF and Boston College appear to have the best shots at doing that, based on their remaining schedules.
---Hawaii took the most significant tumble (#16 to out of the poll) and they won last week. But they just don't cut it as a Top 25 team after looking at them closely.
---Anyone who ranks Auburn right now is nuts (and I've seen it on a few ballots already). They're 3-2 with a home loss to Mississippi State. But yes, they've played 3 teams ranked on my ballot. So has Colorado, also 3-2, and nobody's ranking them.
---Anyone who ranks Virginia right now is nuts too (and I've seen that on a few ballots). They're still crawling out of that Wyoming crater, albeit much faster than I thought.
